School Meals
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a universal free school meal and they are provided with a free fruit snack at morning break.
Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6: School lunches can be purchased on a daily basis or ordered in advance using the MYCAS app. A standard dinner costs £2.70. This is payable via the app (we are a cash free school).
We send home menus each April and October so that families can decide which days they want to have school meals. Children are welcome to bring in a packed lunch if they wish. Packed lunches should not include glass bottles, sweets or fizzy drinks.
We are a nut free school so please do not send children in with food containing nuts.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits, your child may qualify for free school meals in Key Stage 2. Even if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 (and receiving universal free school meals) we encourage parents to apply if they meet the criteria. This is because it can help raise extra funds for the school (called Pupil Premium).
